ReplyDeleteI had an amazing Thai basil sorbet once, and if I had a definitive recipe for that, I would be incredibly happy. I saw you have another basil sorbet, but I am looking specifically for Thai basil.
ReplyDeleteHi Renee, If you check back over the next couple weeks I will be posting photos and a recipe for basil coconut sorbet. Thai basil would be perfect for it. It's very simple: 2 cups coconut milk, 1 cup loosely packed basil leaves, 1/2 cup sugar all blended together and then added to an ice cream maker.

burnt sugar(I had this once in Williamstown and almost died), and
sweet potato with brown butter!

ReplyDeleteI had a "Black and Tan" gelato (like, the beer) with bits of caramel today in Berkeley. The first taste was kind of surprising (beer ice cream?), but then it was just plain delicious! You should come up with a good recipe so I can make more myself... :)
